What gurus won’t tell you.
It’s one of the most common questions I see tossed around by ecom brands at 30-50k/m:
“Do we even need email marketing?”
Yes. And, tbh, no.
At this range, what you need is to have your flows set up. At a bare minimum, you’re looking at a welcome series, your abandoned cart/checkout, browse abandonment, site abandonment, and post purchase.
Having these in place will literally make everything in your business run more efficiently.
Here, you could get away with sending a campaign 1x a fortnight.
But if you’re doing over $60k/m+ - email is no longer a nice to have. It’s a must have.
Without it, you’re losing thousands of dollars per month in additional revenue. Straight up.
