What’s an “Engaged Segment?”
Answering your FAQs
A few weeks ago, I asked 1,208 of you what email topics you wanted to learn about.
And I had at least a dozen responses asking me to explain what an engaged segment is, why it’s important, how to set it up.
While this could (and probably should) be a whole YouTube training - I’m going to bring the crux of it to you in this email:
What’s an engaged segment:
An engaged segment is a group of people who have shown recent interest in your brand. We determine this based on their recent behaviour.
Why is an ‘engaged segment’ important?
These are customers, who have shown interest in your brand and your messaging through behaviours such as interacting with your emails, viewing products, visiting your website, etc.
This means these are the people who are most likely to resonate with your marketing messages, and who we can nurture to buy.
How do you set it up?
Copy this exact definition inside of Klaviyo. A good 80%+ of your campaigns should go to this segment.
Hope this helps.
